Our founder, Darrell McGowan, is a fifth-generation Nevadan who grew up in Yerington and graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno. Long before deionized water systems became common in the cleaning industry, Darrell was using them for home washing and window cleaning in the 1980s.
That method became one of the things that made Nevada Home Detailing different. Deionized water dries clean without leaving mineral spots behind, allowing windows and exterior surfaces to be cleaned safely and thoroughly.
Darrell built Nevada Home Detailing with a simple standard: do quality work, take care of the customer, and respect the property.
In 2024, Darrell’s nephew, Jacob Bray, purchased the company and continued the family business into its next chapter. Jacob’s goal is to honor what Darrell started while continuing to raise the standard for professionalism, communication, documentation, and detail.
Today, Nevada Home Detailing serves Reno, Sparks, and surrounding Northern Nevada communities, providing window cleaning, home detailing, pressure washing, solar panel cleaning, and exterior cleaning services.
